
The Gold Muddy White Variety was selected in 1873 by Szélesi József Izsáki vincellér a Kadarka
orchard. Originally protected, Hungaricum vines are grown in the world only in Hungary, Izsák and its surroundings, with a current production area of about 150 hectares. Earlier it was also grown as a table grape. Gold Slays were exported to Germany. From the 1970's onwards, the main type of Izsák champagne production is excellent champagne.
