A colour of deep purple with black tinges. The nose offers dried sour cherries, prunes, dark berries, toasty vanilla, exotic spices, a hint of minerality and a still youthful vigour. Lots of fruit on the palate enhanced by round tannins and the spices of oak ageing. A vibrant wine with a persistent finish.
